Jesus Christ has placed leaders within His Church in order to “equip the saints for works of ministry” as well as to build up the body of Christ. Opportunities for works of ministry in our community come in varying forms. Sometimes it’s through supporting relief organizations like the Bibb County United Christian Ministry but other times it is in simply loving our neighbor on a daily basis.

One of the ways that God has blessed Brent Presbyterian Church is by providing us with a great facility. We seek to reach out to the community by welcoming them to share in using this resource. Currently, we sponsor Boy Scout Troop 83 which includes Boy Scouts, Cub Scout and an active Venture Crew. The church has also served as the meeting place for a youth led worship service which is attended by teenagers from many churches within Brent and Centreville.

In the near future, we hope to establish a homeschooling academy that will serve families in Bibb County that need encouragement and legal covering as they homeschool their children.
