Ministry Teams

In his letter Ephesians, the Apostle Paul explained that Christ provides leaders within the church “to equip the saints for works of ministry, for building up the body of Christ.” Here at Brent Presbyterian Church, members are encouraged to be actively involved with the ministry of the gospel through ministry teams. Each of the three teams (Christian Education, Service, Hospitality) seeks to serve Christ by using the individual gifts of its members to build up his church.

Christian Education

In a letter he wrote to a young pastor named Timothy, Paul referred to the church of God as a “pillar and buttress of the truth.” The Christian Education ministry team provides recommendations and assistance in meeting the educational needs of the congregation as we seek to grow in our knowledge of the truth. Whether children’s Sunday School, men’s and women’s Bible study, Sunday evening Bible study or any other opportunity to grow in biblical understanding, it is likely that the Christian Education ministry team played a part in making it happen.
